The Volunteers at Random Acts Of Genealogicl Kindness will look up obits --- and do many other things --- on a *LIMITED* basis for free -- except for cost of copies, etc. We do *NOT* charge for our time. You can go directly to someone in the city/county/state that you need help in by checking us out on http://www.raogk.org/ Please take time to *READ* the Welcome and all instructions. and when you find the volunteer area you need, please take note of what the volunteer says they will do .... not all do obits; not all do courthouse searches; not all do cemetery visits, etc. This is *NOT* a place to get all your genealogy done for free .... and you should not send several requests at one time unless directly related such as several obits needed from one newspaper. And of course, it would be wonderful if you would in turn join us and volunteer look-ups in your town.
