Subject: [ROOTS-L] Brick wall - help needed, please!

Hello everybody,

I've hit the brick wall and don't know really which way to turn. I'm hoping
that maybe some of you could give me a hint of how to proceed next.

I went through an old box with eg old letters and found one from my
ggggfather's brother UNO ROBERT HALLGREN to another of my ggggfather's
brothers. The letter is dated OCTOBER 13, 1835 in RUSTAD, Minnesota. Other
information I have is that he is supposed to have been born in 1812 and died
in 1844. I found a notice that said he was a pharmacist/drugstore manager
(don't know which word is being used in English), perhaps in N Y.

As you can see I don't have much to go on and I don't know how much records
etc exists from that time. It would be great fun if it's possible to trace
him and maybe find any descendants of his. So if anyone has any tip-offs,
ideas or something I'd appreciate it!

Thank you in advance!
Anna in Sweden
