I'm amazed at the large number of responses to this question. I was 25 when I started my geneoogical researching in earnest. I was only 7-8 years old when my father piqued my interest in my family origin when relating the story told to him by his grandfather that my GGGrandmother was Eli Whitney's granddaughter.
