Subject: [ROOTS-L] DAR Lookup

I was wondering if anyone could do a DAR lookup for me.  I am looking for Elisha Purdy b. 17 Apr 1740, North Castle, Westchester, NY; d. 20 Apr 1820 in Marlborough, Ulster, NY.  On July 14, 1775, he refused to sign the Articles of Association but is said to have join the Dutches County Militia, Second Regiment, in 1777 when invasion was threatened.  I am looking for any confirmation of this.  My grandmother had said he was found in the DAR index and listed the following RYX5GK if that means anything.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
