Subject: [ROOTS-L] CZEKAJ, ADAMEK

Researching the following: My grandfather Jozef Czekaj, born in the rural Krakow, Poland area in 1863, Immigrated to America in 1893 and settled in Mt. Pleasant, PA where he worked in a coal mine until 1902. Two sons, George, my father and Andrew and two daughters, Rose and Pauline. Moved to Lena, Wisconsin in 1902 and homesteaded a farm there. Died in 1922 in  Lena
   
  Franz Adamek, my other grandfather, born in Liegnitz, Germany (now Legnica, Poland) in 1865. Immigrated to America in 1895, and settled in Rib Lake, Wisconsin. Two daughters, Anna, my mother and Frieda. Died in Rib Lake in 1902.
   
  Anyone with any information regarding these names please contact me.
