Subject: [ROOTS-L] Military Service Numbers

Hi,
I know that when I was enlisted in a reserve program my number began with a  
"WR".  When I finished college and was commissioned the number changed and  
began with the letter "L".   Members of the Women's Army Corps were  integrated 
into the "real" Army in 1974.

(But I didn't wear brown shoes. :-))
