Subject: [ROOTS-L] Cora Williams----? On Cemeteries

Hi Cora

First let me ask what state you are in and do you know which cemetery you are looking for?

Some of the places I have gone to look for Cemeteries when I did a genealogy Trip this last summer are:

Local Library
Funeral Homes
Feed Stores( some of the old timers hang out here)
County Seats( did not have much luck here)
City Hall ( call and ask the name of the Cemeteries in the area and who the caretakers are) This is perfect for the Funeral Homes also)
Sheriff Dept.( Believe or not I had lots of luck here as the sheriff has to know his county and thus the cemeteries also.

Good luck
Brenda Gormley
