What you have is "free colored persons" 1 male under 14 2 males 26-45 1 male 45+ 1 female 14-26 To read this, because there are no headers, you want to download the sample census from Ancestry. Assuming you found this there? Then you can count the boxes, which I found to be 24 before we got a person. You might want to recheck -- I could have counted wrong.
