I find the Sire name changes spellings in each generation with sibling using different spellings. Do you a marriage date for William Kilborn to Catherine Powell. I have a death date for William Kilborn December 22, 1845 in Chili Monroe Co, New York. I found Catherine Kilborn/Kilburn in the 1850 census, Monroe co, New York, listed as a widow, with the following children, Hiram, age 19 born in C.E. (Catherine is listed as born in C.E.), Laura age 21 born in C.E. Emma L. age 17, born in Vermont, and Lawson S. age 14, born in C.W. Emma Louse is my great grandmother, born, Sept 23, 1833/1834 in Derby Vermont and Married to James Madison Shipp, Sept 14, 1856 in West Lafayette, Tippacanoe, Indiana. My Grandfather, Orrin Theo Shipp was born July 2, 1872, Boswell, Benton Co, Indiana, My Father, Albert John Shipp, born 16, Feb, 1908, Rest, Wilson, Kansas. and then me Ramona Lee Shipp born 28, May 1936. I have James Madison Shipp and Emma Louise Kilburns marriage license (copy), I find Emma teaching school in the Lafayette Tippicanoe Indiana schools in 1854. I have the obituaries of both Emma Louise and James Madison Shipp for Yates Cen! ter, Kansas. Any direction would be appreciated. Ramona.
