Just as a clarification for those of you too young to remember, the Korean  
thing was a "Conflict", not a declared war.  I recall a census taker years  ago 
asking if my husband had been in a war and I said yes, Korea, and she  
corrected me.  Come to think of it, that particular census might  confuse folks in 
the future who heard of a family member being in Korea.   No, the census taker 
said he wasn't in a war.
