I need any information on the first family of Fredrich H York who was son of Samuel and Eunice York,born c 1832 at Naples Maine.[Descendants of Richahd York and Elizabeth of NH.] Between 1850 and 1877 Fredrick married and had several children.One son Uriah,age 18,is shown lliving with Fredrick and second wife Catherine Chaplin and their year old son Charles in the 1880 census for Otisfield Me. Otisfield is given as birthplace for Uriah and Charles York but vital records for Otisfield do not show any of this family. Fredrick is known to have had several more children including a son Eben,a full brother to Uriah,and another son,Fredrick D b Otisfield and daughter Catherine[Kate] by second wife.Fredrick later lived in Oxford,Norway,Hartford,Turner and Jay Maine where he died in 1904.I have not found him in 1860 and1870 census records. I have not been able to learn name of first wife,their marriage date and place,a divorce or death date,etc. Will greatly welcome any information on this family. Regards Ida Kretschmar
