Skillman who is listed as being in the Spanish-America War is my G-Grandfather. William T. Skillman rank of Private Enlisted in Indianapolis, In. Start April 26, 1898 End Nov.4, 1898 Is there any where I could find out his date of birth oranything else. My Ggrandfather William Thomas Skillman was born 22Oct1873 in Preble Co., Ohio. I figured out he would have been 24 and he was married for about 8 months whenhe enlisted. I have no other records to go on.
