Subject: [ROOTS-L] New MINNESOTA Research note

Our research note for January concerns the railroads that used to 
cross the state and resources for identifying the right one. Many 
immigrants depended on the railroad for transportation, and many 
families moved with their jobs as new rail lines were built. This 
note provides a lexicon of acronyms within Minnesota to trace the 
genealogy of the rail line and allow researchers to identify where 
records for that line might be available.
