My name is Eric Griffin, I live on the Isle of Wight. I am trying to find data on a Jane White:=20 She is shown on her marriage certificate as Jane Larvey or Larway White. She appears to have been born in Portsea Hampshire England on the 20th = May 1813. Somehow she got to St Petersburg Russia=20 Jane married a William Watts he was born 1820, I don't know where? The marriage took place in the Chapel of the British Factory also known = as (the Russian Company) St Petersburg 2nd October 1845 The only child I can find is Alison Winifred Watts born 8th October 1847 = in St Petersburg Russia, the christening was also in the Chapel of the = British Factory. William Watts died of rabies on the 22nd February 1852 and is buried in = Smolensko Cemetery St Petersburg Russia. The priest Edmund Law, married the couple, christened their daughter and = officiated at the burial of William. I have see the birth, and marriage certificates in Russian with an = English translation by Edmund law appended. The next time I find Jane and her daughter are when Alison Winifred = Watts married William John Wadmore of West Meon, the marriage took place = in 1871 married in Portsea Hampshire. I have no official data on this Jane Finally died on the 29th February 1916 in 33 St Dunstan's Rd = Feltham Middlesex. I need somehow to find how she returned to England, when, and where etc. Her parents and where she actually was born Can Anyone help. Best wishes Eric Isle of Wight.
