Subject: [ROOTS-L] Re: place of death

Dear Rooters,

Could someone help with suggestions for finding the place of death when all one has is the SSDI index which lists no place and it appears no benefits were ever paid out from this persons's account. This man lived in California all his life but is not in the California Death Index (1954). I know he died of an aneuryism so he could have died in a hospital far from home. Any way to find out? Joy in San Diego
