When we had this discussion a couple of weeks ago --- I think it was on this
list --- we had a number of ways done by different people. Some of us, from
the 'old school' - like me - maintain a natural way ...

If speaking, would you say I'm from Yell Co, Dardanelle, AR or would you
say Dardanelle, Yell Co AR?

The important piece of info is the county .... because it is by that the
records are searched for.... if you have the city/town, all well & good.....
there was a time when county must have been abbreviated cty but I think when
genealogy came into play most people went with Co and the official
two-letter cap for the state ...
The use of Co should not confuse people with CO (Colorado).

I go with Dardanelle, Yell Co AR
Consistency is important, and I'd take the time to clean up my records ...
not too difficult if you are using a genealogy program ...
