Subject: [ROOTS-L] RE: Unclaimed Headstone at Police Station

ANSWER TO QUESTION:
Karen,
While I do have a subscription to Ancestry I tried the SSDI records. I
believe this is what you are looking for. If you contact the newspaper and give
them the information they should be able to look up an Obituary for these two
people and find out where they were buried.

Hope this helps, Gretchen

Subject: Unclaimed headstone at police station

I hope this is okay to post this here. In my local newspaper for today was a
article about a headstone that turned up at the police station. The article
is at the following site.

http://WWW.masslive.Com/Springfield/republican/index
ssf?/base/news-2/114051155341910.xml&coll=1

My newspaper is in Springfield, Massachusetts. The surname on the stone is
wanorey which may be a misspelling. I'd like to search on the Internet to
try to find the living family of the people on the headstone. I don't have a
subscription to ancestry.Com so I can't look there myself. If anyone has any
ideas on where to search please let me know.

Thanks so much.
