Subject: [ROOTS-L] Ohio newspaper question:

Hi All,

I have a question about local newspaper in the Cleveland ,Ohio area.

Do they list in their obits the date of someone death?

The reason I ask this is ,because I sent away for local obits from
newspapers in the cleveland area{the Plain Dealer} and the obits I
recieved do not list the date of death????
I am trying to figure out the obits I recieved and see if they are the
dates of death or not???
The people I am trying to figure out were:

Edmund Davies -  Plain dealer  -7 Sept 2003 pg 8 sec b

Joesph Morgan - Plain Dealer 12 Oct 1977 pg 7 sec d

Jane Morgan{joesph's wife} - Plain dealer- 26 Mar pg 7 sec d


Here in my state dates of death are listed???

Also does the Cleveland  Main Library also do lookup for free from there
necrology files?
