How I laughed (thru my tears) at that story (I am in the same boat).  The
moral here is "yes, do all that work of researching, collecting and
formatting info and pictures, etc., etc.," but then commit it all to a CD or
DVD disk, one each for anyone who expresses interest.  Then let those
individuals take their disks to Kinkos or elsewhere for printout, or, of
course, they can always stick 'em away in a drawer for a look-see SOMEDAY.
(However, I guess I would warn 'em not to tarry with the print-out, but to
do it fast before the technology changes yet again.)

 

This modern world!! What would we do without it?
