Subject: [ROOTS-L] Benjamin Franklin Crabb

This is my first time asking for help.  I have been
reading everyones message for a while now and have
received alot of helpful information.

I am currently researching my husband great,ect..
grandfather, Benjamin Franklin Crabb.  I have alot of
information on him, but am having trouble finding out
where he was a prisoner during the civil war.

Benjamin was a Captain in the 7th Iowa Volunteers
Infantry, Company H.  He fought at the Battle of
Belmont, Mississii County, Missouri where he became a
prisoner of war on Noveber 7, 1861.

Information shows that was confined at Mobile, but no
state and later transfer to Montogomery, Alabama. 
Does anyone happen to know the prison camp names are
or where I should go.
