This brings up a question that I haven't remembered to ask before. My
great-grandmother, Justina Nahadil (sp?), was born in Fuenfkirchen, Austria.
Which, I'm led to believe, is now known as Pecs and is in Hungary (I'm still
working on this, as there may be another Fuenfkirchen in Austria, a very
small area with a castle, is what I'm told. So far Google searches haven't
borne this out). Anyway, my question is this: If your ancestor was born in
a part of the world that used to be Austria, became part of Czechoslavakia,
and is now in the Czech Republic, what nationality was she, and to which
nationality would future generations from that ancestor claim to be? Our
family tells that she was Austrian, and Census Records say Czechoslavakia.
