Easily could be the first wife, and she would have had to appear in court to
be appointed guardian. I am afraid you will still have to wait to know if
Kitty was the second wife <G> Have you been able to find the children in the
1880? That is one way to feel the situation out if you were blessed with the
wives being born in different places<G>
