Dear Rooters, I have been trying to get genealogy information on my paternal great grandparents and have come upon a brick wall. They lived in West Orange New Jersey (or I should say died in West Orange New Jersey). I sent the correct form to Trenton requesting their death certificates and they told me nothing was registered with them. I did find my great grandmother. Her name was Hattie (Harriet) Dutcher Stilwell. She's buried in a cemetery (died October 18, 1918), in Orange, NJ, but she has no tomb stone. I have her birth and death date from the cemetery records, but I'm looking for her birth place. It might be in Carlton, Orleans county, New York State, but I'm not sure. If a death certificate was not filed where do I look? Her husband, William Stilwell died sometime around 1930 but I don't know which cemetery. No death certificate was filed when he died, either. How do I find him? I don't have any birth or death dates. Please Help! Karen
