I couldn't agree more. We have been having a family reunion every other year for several years. Each year, someone comes who hasn't been there before, and most years, there are some who have passed away since the last one. With living like we do today--families scattered far and wide, these reunions are so important and such fun. Connie (Baker) Freriks

MY mother was from a large family (7 girls, 2 boys). We had a family
reunion in 1962. The next one happened last summer and it was wonderful. One
cousin came from Fort Lauderdale,Florida (to southern Kentucky). Two other
cousins came from Virginia and yet another from Harrisburg area of Pennsylvania.
It had been so many years that I did not recognize a few people. I don't
remember the count but it was well over 50 people, all relatives. We have
pictures of the crowd. The only comment was to question why we had not been
doing this all these years.
