Subject: [ROOTS-L] family reunion

I just want anyone who is considering a family reunion this summer to do  so. 
 MY mother was from a large family (7 girls, 2 boys).  We had a  family 
reunion in 1962.  The next one happened last summer and it was  wonderful.  One 
cousin came from Fort Lauderdale,Florida (to southern  Kentucky).  Two other 
cousins came from Virginia and yet another from  Harrisburg area of Pennsylvania.  
It had been so many years that I did not  recognize a few people.  I don't 
remember the count but it was well over 50  people, all relatives.  We have 
pictures of the crowd.  The only  comment was to question why we had not been 
doing this all these years.
