If you can't properly use a computer you can't
properly get into internet genealogy, that's pure
and simple.  I don't know how many times you
personally have to be told the list was created to
cover genealogy AND computers AND related
subjects.  Everyone else seems to get it.

Keith (KAT) is still with Gen-Newbie, Brian has
moved on to other things, we miss him, but wish
him well in his new life mostly away from the

I am well aware that Rootsweb is for genealogy.  I
was among the early contributors to the
cooperative.  But there is *no* internet genealogy
if a newcomer cannot work properly with a computer
and the web.
