Subject: [ROOTS-L] RE: King George - has anyone answered this query??

This was the original question that started the ridiculous flap about helping people. Since I had a hand in this miss-deed, here is the original post again quoted below. There has been dozens of messages to the list, including one from me chastening listers for one reason or another. Has anyone actually bothered to try to help? If I had access to the info requested I would try this, but I do not. I am sorry for the part I played in this transgression...

>Could SKS check the 1861 Census of old Lancashire/Leistershire which I believe is now part of London. Looking for George King and Mary >Ashby of London England, parents of Charles A. KING born in 1847/8 London. They may have had more children. All help appreciated.
