Thanks for your help re: me search for Shala, also to
those others who gave it a shot. I am looking for a
family that was known as Zala but became Shala
somewhere about 1930. Among the children were Michael
Shala, b. 1913, Joseph Shala b 1917, Helen Shala, a
Frank Shala, and one other brother. The family was
located in Schuylkill County, Shenandoah, PA likely.

This is a tough one; I wonder if they didn't screw up
the first letter of the last name and this is why I
can't find it. I have tried all Michaels in Shenandoah
born 1910-1915 and I just don't see them. Possibly
they were left off by mistake.
