Katie, my apologies to you!
I'm really not  rude, but I do realize that the genealogy teacher in me
comes out when I see that, hopefully, I can give instruction to help others
gain skill ...  and I do this especially because so often people will ask
librarians for help .. and their e-mails do need to be concise, etc.
There are so many who depend on the list messages for the majority of their
genealogical information that it would be so much easier to help them if
.....
 My comments were meant only as a help.
And anything that I say are not "my" standards, but commonly accepted
practices.

But again, I do sincerely apologize that my message offended you.
