Yes, it's a good guide.  But be sure to order it as far in advance as you can.  In fact, even if not planning a trip, order it anyway.

I went to SLC for a week last November right after Thanksgiving and had ordered the guide 2-3 weeks beforehand.  It arrived 10 days after I was back home in Miami.  I've put it away for a future trip.

The Convention Bureau is not too far from the library within walking distance....I don't remember how many blocks...and one can pick it up there.  If I recall correctly, they explained that the orders are not sent out as they come in but are sent in a batch mailing.

But it is so much better to have it as far in advance as possible. As I wrote, order it anyway and just put it aside till you need it.
