When I started looking for my history I had a lot of help from people I
didn't know and would never meet except on line. On one branch of my Mothers
line I found the answers I was looking for from a wonderful lady in New
Zealand who opened her computer to me as did a man in Germany on another
branch of the line. I down loaded 40 pages from the German Man.I am happy
that the records were in English as while Mother spoke German I don't and
Mother has been gone for years.I do find it interesting that her family
arrived in America in 1732 and they still spoke German, until my generation.
Mother was the last. None of my cousins speak German and neither do I nor
my sister.
