Hi Bill,    I am interested in your Surnames of Whitney, Smith, and Dean.
My 2nd, 3rd, and possibly 4h greath grandfathers were in the Military
Tract(1821) and also Farmington, Ontario Co., N.Y., coming from Maine by the
3rd and 4th ones.    My 3rd great grandfather(Crosby Whitney) married Mary
Carman, a Quaker girl from Dutchess Co, before going to Norwich, Oxford Co.,
Ontario, Canada.  I have taken the DNA test and know I am descended from
John and Elinor Whitney.  I would like to know more about your line to see
if we have common connections.
