Subject: [ROOTS-L] Bedford Co. PA

Looked at a map to locate Bedford county.
I think Lee's Army of Northern Virginia may have swung thru that area
heading north before swinging east and then coming into Gettysburg from the
north.

The county is really hilly, part of the Allegheny Mountain range. It
wouldn't have been very advantageous to have advanced on Gettysburg from Bedford.
But then, it's been decades
since I've been to Breezewood and perhaps I'm not remembering well.
