Subject: [ROOTS-L] Look-up Please

I am trying to find a John Pannel in early TN histroy.  I found mention of 
him in a 1840 database of Military Pensioners in Monroe Co., TN but can't 
little else.  Trying to prove or disprove that he was the father of a Mrs 
Miriam Webb (husband Pleasant).  So there is a possibility he is listed in 
the earlier censuses of TN like anything from 1820, 1830, 1840 for in 1850 I 
think he is counted in the Webb household of Polk co., TN.  Thanks for
