ANSWER TO BELOW:

Gertrude,
Ancestry.com has your family and your ship on line. Actually they arrived in
September 1881 and not October as you indicated.

Here's the information. There are 18 pages. If you would like me to send you
the images of the first and last page plus the page the family is on please
let me know.
Hope this helps, Gretchen

August 29

Yesterday in Vol. 40 of Filby's Germans to America I learned that my
paternal Grandmother arrived in the U.S. in October , 1881 abated the WESER,
 North
Lloyd Ship. I have scoured every Ships list that I have been able to locate
and can't locate that ship's notation. In the course of searching I read a
comment that WESER, destined for Baltimore, often left some passengers at
New
York. If that were to have been the case with my Grandmother, will the
records
show her as a New York Immigrant. Then I am wasting time looking for a
Passenger List of Baltimore.

She was Adelheide Burkhardt, arriving with Henroette and Carl. I believe
these were her mother and a brother.

Any information will be appreciated.

Gertrude Yager
