Mary Elizabeth Schaller , Pampano Beach , FL. Sender: roots-in@roots-l.rootsweb.com Hi Suzy ----- Thank you for your reply --- I have searched the SS death Index and it is my Mary Elizabeth Schaller , but there is no death notice or Obituary , for her in Carmel Indiana -- I have checked the Carmel Library , the Hamilton County Library and had some one check the local newspapers and the Indianapolis Star newspaper ----- No Obituary -- no mention at all ---------- I know that it said that the " last residence was Carmel , IN " but that could be just where the last SS check was sent , if some relative in Carmel was in charge of her affairs, etc. Mary Elizabeth Schaller at age 94 , could be in a nurseing home anywhere --??? But since she was living in Pampano Beach in 1975 and was living there in 1963 when she applied for a SS card , I thought she might have had friends there and there may have been an obituary in the Pampano newspaper ???? ----- A long shot I know , but worth trying -----Is there a Senior Citizen Club in the area ?/ I would try and see if they have any old records that mention -- Mary Elizabeth Schaller -------------------There must be records someplace that would tell me her husband `s first name and any family she may have had in either Florida or Watertown CT. ------ Thank You --- Leslie
