Subject: [ROOTS-L] subject listing

When opening a Rootsweb Digest message, if the index at the top
doesn't match anything I'm interested in, I'm afraid I stop right
there. I'm probably not the only one who resorts to doing this; It's
just a matter of survival, what with the hundreds of emails, many
quite lengthy, received daily. In order to get the best results
from an email, It would probably be more productive to list the
surname or other relevant subject matter folks are researching in the
subject box . "Help needed", etc. will probably not get the
attention your email deserves. Lengthy subjects will be cut off,
showing only the first few words. Hope this helps.

  Best wishes for successful searches.
