Subject: [ROOTS-L] RE: Hambrook

ANSWER TO BELOW:

Phyllis,
I did a quick check in Ancestry for anyone by the name of Hambrook prior to
1832.

Didn't have time to check thru everything but here's what I did find in a
quick search.
Hope this helps your research a little, Gretchen

ORIGINAL QUESTION:

From: "Phyllis Hambrook" <phambrook@webband.com>
Subject: Hambrook

Searching for information for HENRY HAMBROOK Prince George County, Virginia,
cited in Cavaliers and Pioneers and abstracted by Nell Marion Hugen,
published in Richmond, Virginia, by the State Library 1979 and JOHN HAMBROOK born
Botetourt, Virginia about 1803.

I have never found any records to establish Hambrooks in North America
prior to their entry into New Brunswick Canada in 1832. Henry and John may be the
first to settle in North America, and I would very much appreciate any
information for any early Hambrook.

Have extensive genealogy files and I am willing to help whenever I can.

Sincerely

Phyllis Hall Hambrook
