In the Orono Cemetery there are two gravestones one for Ralph Russell 1893-1894, and one for Mildred Russell 1889-1894. I am trying to find out who these two belonged to, and I thought it might say in the newspaper. They are buried in Lot 7, Block 2. This lot belonged to William H. Russell, but due to the age of both, they would not belong to William. I understand there was a diptheria problem there, and that everyone in Williams family had it. There is a item listed in the paper saying that the board of Health came in and burned their house down and all contents, thinking that this would help put an end to it. It made quite a stir in the area, but never heard how it came out. Their small baby William was born in 1894, and it states that the baby died, of the disease. What is funny is that, that grave does not show up in the cemetery, in that plot. I'd appreciate any help on this. Connie
