Margaret,

You wrote:

problematic."

I don't believe others will be able to change someone else's data. From
what I read, this new feature of the personal tree, will eventually
replace the "People I am looking for" feature. I stopped using that
feature a long time ago because I am looking for too many people. But you
can attach links to records, say a census image.

These private trees are indicated when you do a name search. It is still
new so there aren't many yet. I do wish there was a little more
information to identify an individual. I was searching to see if there
was anything new on a John Hudnall. The personal tree only identify his
name and birth info. If I were looking for someone with a very common
name and wasn't sure of the birth information, I wouldn't know if this
was the person I am looking for or not.

I'm not sure that I will use it. I save census and other records to my
computer.

Dian
