Here it is to help "set the record straight": Hi Diane Dillon, I am doing some fact-finding on the Hans Georg Thron line. I read your file on Rootsweb.com WorldConnect, input “Samuel G. Trone.” I noticed that you have his wife's name: Mary Ann Martha Keller. She is buried in Bair Mennonite Meeting House Graveyard, Heidelberg Twp, York Co. The maintenance man, Mr. Leroy Ness on 13 July 2005 went into the office of Bair Mennonite Church and photocopied for me pages of Thron, Throne, Trone people buried there. This index is not the one compiled by Lida Meckley in the 1930's. This listing was compiled by Bair Mennonite Church staff. I don't have the compilation date. This burial sheet with her name and identifying husband match the newspaper obit. day and year, not month however. I think 3 months were added, instead of subtracting, when calculating by the obit. Trone, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joan Bowman, Grangeville, Monday, Aug. 21, at 6:30 p.m. >From infirmities. She was aged 85 years, 3 months and 16 days. Deceased was a daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Samuel Keller, well-known citizens of Penn Township, along the Westminster Road. Her husband died about thirty years ago, and she is survived by one son, Eli K. Trone, of Baresville, and a daughter, Mrs. John S. Bowman, with whom she lived during the past 20 years.
