Subject: Census Data 

Listers,
  I am trying to determine the meaning of the notation in the marriage column where M1 is stated.  Does this mean married once?, married the first time?, or just married. I discovered this in the 1910 Cuyahoga Co., Ohio census.  Maybe it states the definition somewhere but I failed to see it.  Any definition or opinions would be appreciated.
