What does it show on that marriage certificate ... are you sure that Hennessey was not the city maybe? Does the certificate give both city/town and county and state? The only Hennessey County I came up with was in OK, and of course, was not in your time period. Give us what that certificate says ... names of bride and groom, exact date, etc..... Perhaps something will click into place.
