Subject: [ROOTS-L] Pen Pal from 50 Years Ago

A friend of mine would like to get in touch with a man who was her pen 
pal 50 years ago.  She lives in the US and he lived in Italy.  She did 
meet him and stay with his family in 1957 when she was on a bicycle tour 
of Europe.  She asked me if I knew of anyway to locate him and the only 
thing I could think of was to ask the people on Rootsweb if they knew a 
way to go about it.  This man's name is Metello Ghibaudi, he was 17 at 
that time, and lived in Turin.  His family had a summer home in a little 
town about an hour outside of Turin and they took her there.  The name 
of the town is Regina Margarhitta.  If anyone has any ideas she would 
appreciate it.
