Subject: [ROOTS-L] Re: ROOTS-L Digest V06 #349

DNA Lawsuits????
The courts have been using genetic testing to determine paternity.
Forensic investigators use it all the time to identify otherwise
unidentifable bodies from airplane crashes, fires, murders, etc.
The multitude of victims of 9-11 were identified using DNA.
The military use it to identify soldiers who are victims of explosives.

I don't think that the courts would favor any suit against the government
nor scientists for use of DNA testing.

A Nobel prize was given to the neat fellows who made these discoveries and
they are now at a fine teaching and research hospital in Dallas Texas.
What they will come up with next hopefully will be another great leap for
mankind.
