Subject: [ROOTS-L] SCHEFFLER Coat of Arms

Pat -
I have been trying to find out about my family surname SCHEFFLER "Coat of Arms" for some time. Can you give me some direction so I can determine (1) where they are from; (2) who proclaimed this Coat of Arms on the particular family; (3) and history of its design. You see, I have three pictures of different SCHEFFLER "Coat of Arms" that I can display in an attachment - if this allowed on this site. Because I am a woodcarver, I have carved all three of these Coat of Arms in wood and would like to separate each to a specific area of the Country; if it is in Germany, Poland or Russia. Thanks for your help and direction.
