I would like to suggest that you join a DAR chapter close to where you live. You can be more active. It will be of benefit to you & the chapter. It makes no difference where your ancestors came from. We welcome any new members & have some who live out of state but they do not get the feeling of belonging on the local level. You can always transfer if you move
