I am looking for a William Willcocks who was born about 1744. He was in
Kentucky by 1781 and died there in 1802, leaving a wife Phoebe. We have
never been able to back them out of Kentucky.

I am interested in the William Willcox, born to William Willcox and
Thankful York, 12 Sept 1744 in North Stonington, New London Co., CT. It is
the entry in the Barbour Collection that cause us to suspicion William may
have been from Connecticut. However, none of us have ever seen other
records on the William, born 1744 in New Stonington Twp, New London that is
referred to in these works.
Do you any information on the children of William and Thankful, or more
specifically, their son William?
Wanda Ridge
