Subject: [ROOTS-L] JOSEPH PRESTON BOLTON lineage

I am attempting to link Joseph Preston Bolton born 28 July 1816, Botetourt Co. VA , son of  Henry Bolton and Nancy Mann with a Joseph Bolton father of Berle Bolton born 12 Feb 1883, Jackson, Breathhitt Co., KY.  In the 1910 census Joseph is listed as being born in VA circa 1850.  Any ideas?
