For my DAR supplemental application. 1850census: Hancock Co.IL she & son James was living in Ben Mason home as Eliza Mundy. Eliza according to the 1860 census of Van Buren Co. Iowa was age 34 and born in NY. she could have been born in Essex Co. NY around 1826. Eliza's 1st marriage was to Wm. Mondy, he died (no clue to parents from the marriage &/or death records. 2nd marriage to my gt. gt. grandfather:Joseph Doty, again no clue on marriage records of her parents name other then coffee. no parents listed on her death records except again coffee/coffy. no clues from obits. Her siblings could of been: Samuel W. Coffey;Adeline Coffey; Cynthia Coffey; William coffey; Levi Coffey;Nelson (I have civil war papers stating that Wm Coffey was her brother & Eliza had a son name Levi that died in 1850, so possible she named that son after a brother.) any help or suggestions of connecting this person with her parents I would be so grateful .
